Biography
All Handmade Raku or Stoneware Ceramics
Artist Statement
I make ceramic animals and people, most are humorous, some are angry and grotesque and others are just ridiculous, Most are parodies and a simple cartoon drawing starts the process, which I then turn into a three dimensional clay figure. I like to use as many different clays and firing techniques as I can; stoneware, crank, porcelain, reduction, oxidization and raku all add different qualities to the caricature.
