Artist Profile - Alex Weaver
Biography
Alex worked as a dentist up until 12 years ago when she had to give up her career, after becoming ill with M.E. She is a self taught and has developed a fascinating style of macro (close-up) photography, creating unique, abstract images using natural sunlight. They are inspired by the way light dances on water and glass, and her love of deep colours. Alex has had several successful exhibitions in the last four years, and exhibited at the Galanthus Gallery in h-Art 2006.
