Biography
Susan was born in Dublin, but now lives in the Isles of Scilly. She is a trained State Registered Midwife and has been painting and drawing since 1982. She has been reluctant to exhibit, but has been encouraged by her sister Jenny Pearce who is a highly talented willow basket maker. This has led too two exhibitions one at the Weavers Gallery in Ledbury last July and with her sister at the Herefordshire Open Studios last September.Susan is highly influenced by nature and her work reflects this. She works mainly in oils, her images portraying the world around her in an almost fictional style; transporting the viewer into storybook scenes.
