Artist Profile - Amanda Gray
Biography
Amanda’s lives and works in rural Herefordshire close to the Welsh border. Amanda creates layered and fused glass jewellery built from layers of slithered glass which is fired in a specialised kiln. The pieces are all individually made, ensuring that they are all unique.
Artist Statement
Much of my work is inspired by nature and my love of colour which I endeavour to express in each piece, the final masterstroke however, belongs to the kiln and the glass itself.
