Artist Statement

Having moved back from London to a rural location, Alison has been investigating the relationship between the crowd and the individual. Smaller pieces are studies for Alison's larger work that captures the singular personality of an entity that is normally only associated with being part of the herd. Other work shows the crowd where the individual disappears and also smaller groups where individuals retain a strong presence.
